Bayou City Art Festival
If you live in Houston you don’t want to miss out on the Bayou City Art Festival downtown. This festival takes place on October 8th and 9th and is fun for the whole family. Established in 1972, the Art Colony Association, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to producing high quality art festivals and events to provide financial support to local nonprofit organizations. Vendors will showcase artwork from over 19 different mediums and disciplines. Festival goers will get to enjoy live music, kids activities in the Creative Zone, delicious dishes from the most popular Houston food trucks and vendors, and beer and wine at the festival bar.

All the way from Maryland, Stacy Krantz owner of In Bloom Jewelry will amaze you with her beautiful one of a kind art pieces. All her jewelry is handmade from various mediums and inspired by nature.

Eric Grimes, Art from Scraps
Art from Scraps is so unique! Eric takes items from his urban forest of Chicago and re-creates wildlife and the natural environment. He also creates these monster boxes from reclaimed wood and they are for sure the only one of their kind!

Renee Dinauer Sculpture specializes in creating unique freeform wall sculptures and hanging sculptures. They are absolutely breathtaking and so intricately designed. The artist has worked with big name companies such as Macy’s East in New York.
